Setting up SMTP AUTH for Outlook 98/2000/2003/2007/Express/...

In the Tools pull down menu, select "Accounts"

Select the account and click the "Properties" button

In the "Servers" tag, you can find a check box under "Outgoing Mail Server" with a description "My server requires authentication"

Check the box and click the "Settings" button on the right of it.

Ensure the Logon Information is selected to "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

Click "OK" to close all windows.
